| This invention refers to forms used for the framing of concrete pilars
and beams pertaining to the structure of a building. Theses forms have
been conceived and structured to impede the falling of brick and mortar, due either to implosion or explosion, and
to prevent the cracks that appear between bricks and concrete as a result of temperature changes and
earthquakes. For their configuration and technical characteristics,
these MODIFIED FORMS are made of
steel, with various designs according to your necessity, and have ducts to
give shape to the concrete of the pilar, both inside and outside, so as
to give better support, inside or outside of the pilar, to bricks or
whatever material used for the partitions. |

As you can see in these photographs, the brick is fitted
inside the pillar. Thanks to the special shape of the
brick (given in the manufacturing plant or at work), it
is enough just to cut the exceding part for the rest to
enter the duct made in the pilar by the modified forms.
When part of the brick is inserted (it is enough with 3
or 4 cms for the blocking operation with the pillar) we
achieve a remarkable increase of the resistance as a
result of explosion or implosion, as well as the
formation of cracks, which appear between the pillar and
the bricks because of the lack of adhesion between them
both.

In this case, the brick has
not been fitted into the pillar. It was enough just to
fill with concrete the interior of the duct made by the
modified forms, and spread the bricks with concrete, in
such a way that the brick, the concrete and the duct
adhere as one piece, through the filling of the duct.

Goals
- To obtain a degree of resistance of exterior walls
which has never been achieved before.
- To prevent cracks between walls and pillars as a
result of the lack of adhesion and support of the bricks
with the pillar
- To increase the resistance to seismic movements,
because the union between the wall and the pillar highly
improves the resistance to the falling of bricks.
- To increase the resistance to gas explosions, or
explosions of other kind, be them interior or exterior,
thus minimizing the effects of falling materials, either
to the interior or to the exterior.
